CHARITY PARTY

Register your interest in becoming EAACWS, an ambassador. Ways to get involvedAs EAACWS, an ambassador you can get involved by:Inspiring family, friends, colleagues and your networks to support the charityAttending cheque presentations in your local area and thanking our donors face-to-faceGiving short talks on the charity and work of the EAACWS, to a variety of community groups (experience of public speaking is required) and providing feedbackSetting up a fundraising group with friends, family or colleaguesGetting people involved in our latest fundraising appeals and campaignsPromoting sign-ups to our UK and overseas challenge events to friends, family and your networks Making introductions to your contacts who may support the charityVolunteering at events and assisting at cheering posts at run challenges (please note that if you just want to volunteer at our cheering posts we do not need you to register as an ambassador - please register as a challenge events volunteer) Placing, emptying and banking coin collection tins in cafes, restaurants, shops and your communityWhat we ask of youThis role would suit you if you: Are looking for a long term volunteering roleHave a personal connection to the COMMUNITY and would like to share your storyYou would like to get involved with various volunteering opportunitiesHave public speaking skills (not essential)Enjoy fundraising and would like to connect with likeminded peopleWhat we offer in return.We are committed to supporting our volunteers and offer the following: 

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Becoming an EAACWS Volunteer Ambassador International is committed to seeing people involved in supporting our work around the world. If you are passionate about seeing the lives of orphans and vulnerable Refuges families and children transformed, then becoming an EAACWS International Volunteer Ambassador is a great way to help make a difference!  EAACWS is a Volunteer Ambassador? EAACWS International Volunteer Ambassadors represent the organisation on a voluntary basis with the purpose of raising awareness about the work we undertake. A Volunteer Ambassador will help to forge meaningful relationships and partnerships, and promote the work of EAACWS International in schools, businesses. About EAACWS International: We are EAACWS committed to giving hope to orphans and vulnerable children living in desperate situations around the world. We provide quality holistic care to these children, their families and communities. We do this through operating children’s homes, care centres, schools and community programmes. In partnership with EAACWS Alive International, we work in the following countries: Africa: Middle East: Asian countries EAACWS International’s Responsibilities to Volunteer Ambassadors: We are committed to: Making sure you are trained, equipped and prepared for your role, which will take into account your interests, skills and aspirations. Providing adequate support and advice as needed. Providing you with up-to-date and relevant information and promotional materials.Recognising that you are a volunteer, and may therefore be only able to commit a certain amount of time to the organisation.Recognising your successes and commitment to our work whenever possible.Listening to and taking into consideration any feedback you might have about the work of Hope for Kids International.Providing training, conferences and other special activities and events. To foster a friendly and supportive atmosphere – we aim to make volunteering fun! We will, to the best of our ability, take all reasonable steps to ensure the health and safety of our Volunteer Ambassadors whilst they carrying out activities on our behalf. Our Expectations of Our EAACWS Volunteer Ambassadors: The responsibilities of our EAACWS Volunteer Ambassadors may include some or all of the following:  Helping to recruit other supporters for EAACWS International.Promoting our REFUGES FAMILY Sponsorship programme.Giving talks and presentations about EAACWS International.Identifying and developing potential fundraising opportunities in the local community. Distributing promotional materials to interested people.Inspiring others to hold fundraising events.Helping to promote our special appeals.Keeping the management of EAACWS International informed of their activities. Praying for the work of EAACWS International. Volunteer Ambassadors should be able to affirm their commitment to EAACWS International’s Vision, Mission, Core Values and Statement of Faith. The Application and Selection Process:  To become an EAACWS Volunteer Ambassador you must be at least 18 years of age. If you are interested in becoming a Hope for Kids Volunteer Ambassador, please follow the steps below: Make sure you have read all the information, so that you understand what is involved in being a Volunteer Ambassador for EAACWS International.Complete the application form (below) and send this to Hope for Kids International.Once the application form has been received and reviewed, Hope for Kids International get in touch with you to discuss it and talk about how you can get involved.A Disclosure and barring check (DBS) will be carried out. Once you are approved as a Hope for Kids International Volunteer Ambassador, we work with you to develop a plan for developing your role. Code of Conduct for our Volunteer Ambassadors:  Whilst we appreciate that our Volunteer Ambassadors’ roles are undertaken on a voluntary basis, we have a duty to protect the image and reputation of Hope for Kids International. We therefore request that, whilst representing EAACWS International, all Volunteer Ambassadors will:  Not act in a manner that will cause harm to the reputation of Hope for Kids International.Not smoke while engaged in activities related to your role as a Volunteer Ambassador.Be careful about consuming alcohol while undertaking your role as a Volunteer Ambassador.Be courteous and considerate towards others and not discriminate against another person or organisation.Inform the Hope for Kids International Executive Director of any current or potential conflicts of interest resulting from your role as a Volunteer Ambassador.Carry appropriate identification at all times when undertaking your role as a Volunteer Ambassador. Conduct themselves in a safe and responsible manner and not to act in a way that may put themselves or others at risk.

EAACWS, Volunteer charity ambassadorsAre you a sponsor and interested in being a World EAACWS, ambassador? If so, we’d love to have you on board! This is a voluntary role for existing supporters of World EAACWS who already sponsor a child and are so motivated by the work they have seen, that they want to promote our work to groups in their local area. World EAACWS, will be on hand every step of the way, providing you with all the training and information you'll need to be an effective World EAACWS ambassador.   Here’s what you’ll get when you sign up: An information pack, presentation materials and other documentsAccess to the World EAACWS Ambassador Facebook groupAccess to a website where you can download helpful documents and videos.EAACWS, Volunteer ambassadors EAACWS, Volunteer charity ambassadorsWe are looking for volunteer ambassadors to join our team. We need people who are friends and supporters of EAACWS, and who can be the face of the charity and EAACWS, in their communities.Our EAACWS, ambassadors are a network of volunteers, based across the Europe & UK– organising fundraising activities, representing the charity in their local area and helping to engage people with the work of the hospital.

Quarterly meetings in the EAACWS and the opportunity to meet other members of the team

Resources to help you fundraise and give talks/presentations on the EAACWS, and charity
